Please visit BlogSpinner V2 until new posts apppear here.

Please note: The BlogSpinner V2 and V1 pages will eventually be ported over here. So it is entirely possible that you will see posts appearing which have a posting date prior to this post. Each time an older post is ported over, the original post’s content will be replaced with an URL redirecting the visitor to the equivalent page on this version.

The older versions of BlogSpinner run on the Blogger.com blogging platform. V3 runs on the WordPress 1.5.2 platform. For many reasons, I decided to make the move, including loads more flexibility. For many reasons, I chose not to use WordPress V2.x for the time being.

That said, I will try to post here about tricks that you can do with your WordPress installation to customize your blog/ journal. Stayed tuned. I’m having a combination of fun and frustration with WordPress, but more of the former than the latter. So I’m hoping to showcase here what I’ve learned. I will also bring you more tutorials for other blogging platforms, once I’ve gotten the hang of their APIs (Application Programmer Interface).

For those of you that are not computer programmers, here’s a surprise. It’s not that hard to learn WordPress tricks. I taught computer labs in college for students who were not majoring in computer science, and they had it harder.
